Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 10,   Pages 1370-1378 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000330

Abstract: Multicomponent oxide (GaIn)O films are prepared on (0001) sapphire substrates to realize a tunable band-gap by technology followed by thermal annealing. The optical properties and band structure evolution over the whole range of compositions in ternary compounds (GaIn)O are investigated in detail. The X-ray diffraction spectra clearly indicate that (GaIn)O films with Ga content varying from 0.11 to 0.55 have both cubic and monoclinic structures, and that for films with Ga content higher than 0.74, only the monoclinic structure appears. The transmittance of all films is greater than 86% in the visible range with sharp absorption edges and clear fringes. In addition, a blue shift of ultraviolet absorption edges from 380 to 250 nm is noted with increasing Ga content, indicating increasing band-gap energy from 3.61 to 4.64 eV. The experimental results lay a foundation for the application of transparent conductive compound (GaIn)O thin films in photoelectric and photovoltaic industry, especially in display, light-emitting diode, and solar cell applications.

<i>RR1i> and <i>RR2i> gene deletion affects the immunogenicity of a live attenuated pseudorabies

Shijun YAN,He YAN,Chaolin ZHANG,Tongyan WANG,Qingyuan YANG,Zhe SUN,Yan XIAO,Feifei TAN,Xiangdong LI,Kegong TIAN

Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2016, Volume 3, Issue 1,   Pages 81-86 doi: 10.15302/J-FASE-2016088

Abstract: As virulence-determining genes, and encode the small subunit and large subunit of viral ribonucleotide reductase (RR) in pseudorabies virus which have been extensively studied in mice. However, their role in pigs has not been adequately investigated. In this study, we deleted and genes based on a / / triple gene-deleted pseudorabies virus and tested its efficacy in pigs as a vaccine candidate. The rescued virus showed similar growth properties and plaque size as its parent strain. In an animal study, the virus could elicit humoral immune responses shown by generation of gB-specific antibodies and virus neutralizing antibodies. However, vaccination could not provide protection against virulent pseudorabies virus challenge since vaccinated pigs showed clinical pseudorabies-specific syndromes. The deficiency in protection may due to the generation of late and low levels of gB antibodies and virus neutralizing antibodies.

Abstract: The deformability and high degree of freedom of mollusks bring challenges in mathematical modeling and synthesis of motions. Traditional analytical and statistical models are limited by either rigid skeleton assumptions or model capacity, and have difficulty in generating realistic and multi-pattern mollusk motions. In this work, we present a large-scale of larvae and propose a motion synthesis model named Path2Pose to generate a pose sequence given the initial poses and the subsequent guiding path. The Path2Pose model is further used to synthesize long pose sequences of various motion patterns through a recursive generation method. Evaluation analysis results demonstrate that our novel model synthesizes highly realistic mollusk motions and achieves state-of-the-art performance. Our work proves high performance of deep neural networks for mollusk motion synthesis and the feasibility of long pose sequence synthesis based on the customized body shape and guiding path.
